Rosita Guy has an extensive background in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Training and small/medium business experience. Rosita specialises in the following disciplines.

Management Systems and Organisation Procedures:
Rosita specialises in assisting organisations in Management Systems by formulating policies, procedures and management systems to meet the legislative requirements of today’s employment environment.

Training Consultant:
Rosita stages training seminars and workshops in all facets of people management. This practical assistance has taken her throughout New Zealand and has resulted in an ongoing association with a variety of organisations in the manufacturing, health, education, service and volunteer (non profit) sectors.

Personal Self Development:
In recent years Rosita has expanded her advisory and training expertise into the area of balancing one’s life by managing time, stress, working smarter as well as the importance of nutrition and exercise, planning for the future and caring for oneself so that one can lead others.

With a solid background in People Management and Industrial Relations Rosita has found her expertise well suited to this growing part of the work now done by Rosita Guy Associates in addition to also coaching people in operating their own home based businesses or employees working from the home.

Professional Coaching:
Rosita acts in the capacity of a Professional Coach to many senior personnel with managerial responsibilities by building their confidence to lead and motivate their teams. Working together on a one on one basis, she identifies the skills base of her client and works to build up the areas for improvement through strategic planning, legally defensible practices and exploring different methods of behaviour and performance to result in more effective outcomes.

Guest Speaker:
Rosita has been a guest speaker at many conferences for a variety of organisations New Zealand wide particularly in the areas of conflict resolution, communication skills, leadership techniques and skills, smart work practices and work/life balance.

Professional Associations:
Rosita has been a committee member of the Human Resource Institute of NZ. for the Canterbury Branch from 2000 undertaking both the Treasurer and Events Management  Portfolios. She was awarded an Associate Fellowship of this organisation in 2006 for her work in this field in Canterbury. She now has the role of Ambassador for the Branch.

From June 2003, Rosita has been the Advocate for the New Zealand School Executive Officers’ Association where she acts as an independent advisor when required by members.

Rosita is a founding member of Entrepreneur – Women Who Mean Business; formed in 2006 to provide encouragement, training and motivation for women starting businesses or who have had businesses for some time and are able to provide advice to newcomers into the business world.

Lecturing Positions

From 2004 Rosita has also been a guest tutor for the Strategic Development Programme staged by the New Zealand Institute of Management Southern Inc.

From July 2007 Rosita has undertaken lecturing positions with the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology in the following disciplines:
